Responsibilities

Ensure the success and effectiveness of acquisition processes and programs
Qualification
Required
Must be a U.S Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret /SCI security clearance
This position has been designated for drug testing. Incumbent is subject to random urinalysis testing as a condition of employment
Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise
Employee may be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours to include evenings and weekends and may be subject to recall
The employee must meet the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) requirements applicable to the duties of the position
Eligible for situational telework only, including Emergency and OPM prescribed 'Unscheduled Telework'
Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY): Approximately 20 days per year
Employee must within 30-days of assuming this position and by 31 October annually thereafter, file an OGE-450, 'Confidential Financial Disclosure Report.' Employee is required to attend annual ethics and procurement integrity training
This position is part of the Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP). The employee must meet the functional area certification requirements within the timeframe range of 1 - 5 years from appointment date into the position
Relevant Program Management experience in providing facilitation for SERVICES acquisitions and contracts to include, but not limited to market research, requirements development, acquisition strategy development, source selection execution, training, performance management, and portfolio tracking
Proficiency in Project Management Institute principles and methodologies
Ability to obtain Acquisition Professional Development Program, Advanced - Program Management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work on complex, mission-critical projects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Written tenure agreements are required to be assigned to this position
