Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
Prepare monthly journal entries, accruals, and bank reconciliations
Support month-end close and financial reporting
Track job costs including labor, materials, subcontractors, and change orders
Prepare and analyze Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules
Support percentage-of-completion revenue recognition
Assist with progress billings and retention tracking
Perform budget vs. actual analysis and explain variances
Support audits and basic tax compliance as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction
Experience with job costing, WIP, and month-end close
Strong Excel skills
Working knowledge of GAAP
ERP experience required
Preferred
NetSuite preferred
Exposure to Yardi and/or ADP Payroll is a plus, not required
CPA or CPA-track preferred
