Copywriter
Theory is a New York-based clothing brand that focuses on creating clothes that empower individuals through exceptional fit and style. They are seeking a Copywriter strategist to engage customers through brand storytelling across various platforms, collaborating with multiple internal teams to execute content plans and deliverables.
Responsibilities
Write copy for site, email, app, paid social, in-store promotions, banners, print mailers, press and retail events, and organic social for Theory mainline, and Helmut Lang and Theory outlet as needed
Own retail marketing messaging for Theory mainline and Theory outlet
Maintain and update all Theory for Good sustainability messaging
Create branded social copy that is insightful, culturally relevant, and inherently sharable
Translate the vision of the season and execute the brand story all channels, maintaining a consistent voice and tone
Brainstorm storytelling and marketing opportunities for Theory
Qualification
Required
BA required, English or Communications preferred
4-5+ years of previous experience as a womens and menswear copywriter for retail/luxury and/or editorial
Keen understanding of luxury voice and product copy best practices
Portfolio with relevant work
Deadline-oriented
Comfortable working independently
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent proofreading, editing and problem-solving skills
