Bachelor's degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Life Sciences, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
Proven track record as a hands-on senior level individual contributor, comfortable both setting strategy and implementing technical solutions
Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar) and modern data stack components
Strong expertise in data modeling and ETL/ELT for analytics and reporting, including building reusable, production-grade data assets
Experience working closely with integration teams (ideally with MuleSoft or similar) and understanding how operational integrations and data pipelines intersect
Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one data engineering language (e.g., Python or Scala)
Hands-on experience with data pipeline and orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Azure Data Factory, dbt, or similar) and CI/CD concepts for data workloads
