Responsibilities

Assists in developing and implementing program goals, objectives, and services in alignment with strategic workplans
Collaborates with the Program Director to develop and implement program strategies, set performance metrics, and measure program impact
Researches and recommends strategic partnership opportunities with current and new stakeholders
Builds and sustains strategic relationships with leadership across federal agencies, representing the organization and fostering opportunities for collaboration
Assists with the execution of agreements, ensuring compliance with program standards and goals, and working closely with the finance department
Assists in preparation and submission of proposals to agencies
Provides mentorship and guidance to program staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development
Assists with performance evaluations and succession planning
Represents organization at conferences, meetings, and events as needed, demonstrating the organization’s commitment to expand opportunities for experienced workers to support government agencies in achieving their missions

Required

Operational experience with non-profit, for-profit, and government sectors desired, with preference for demonstrated ability to implement and manage government grant programs
Experience with Federal Agencies (preference with USDA)
Experience with HR and/or workforce planning and projects
Experience with federal grants and agreements
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to serve on and lead successful business and/or program teams
Demonstrated ability to develop and use program support systems and tools
Demonstrated success as collaborator and problem solver
Written and verbal communication skills
Experience handling multiple priorities effectively
Bachelor's Degree ; 12 - 14 Years
Education and experience requirements may be substituted on a year-for-year basis by relevant, demonstrated, progressive, and directly related education/work experience
