Responsibilities

Drive Revenue and Market Growth: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets, focusing on new client acquisition and expanding existing customer relationships
Lead and Develop a High-Performing Sales Team: Recruit, mentor, and manage a motivated sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement to consistently meet sales objectives
Build Strategic Client Partnerships: Cultivate strong relationships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term business growth by understanding and addressing client needs
Enable Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to drive regional sales success, enhance the customer experience, and align with company objectives
Ensure Accurate Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Oversee regional sales planning, forecasting, and performance metrics, providing data-driven insights and regular updates to senior leadership

Required

Proven Track Record: Consistent history of surpassing sales goals and leading high-performing teams
Strategic Planning and Execution: Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to developing and executing strategic sales plans. Ability to assess market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to create and adapt strategies that drive measurable outcomes
Sales Metrics and Financial Acumen: Proficiency in key sales metrics, financial planning, and reporting tools. Experienced in forecasting, budgeting, and using insights to make data-driven decisions
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels
Customer-Centric Approach: Dedication to delivering a positive client experience and fostering client success
8+ years in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership position in K-12 EdTech
Lives in the Western US (Pacific TimeZone, CA/ WA/ CO preferred)
