EHS Intern
Eaton is a company focused on environmental, health, and safety initiatives, and they are seeking an EHS Intern for a 12-week paid internship. The intern will gain hands-on experience supporting EHS objectives, compliance, and data management while learning from EHS professionals.

Responsibilities
Assist the EHS Manager and team with day-to-day activities to support site EHS objectives and compliance
Help collect and input EHS data for tracking performance metrics and reporting purposes
Participate in basic risk assessments and hazard identification activities under supervision
Support the development and organization of EHS training materials and documentation
Assist with maintaining training records and tracking completion status
Help prepare reports and presentations for EHS meetings and audits
Contribute to site EHS initiatives and events that promote safety awareness and engagement
Learn and use EHS tools and systems for data entry and monitoring
Shadow EHS professionals to gain exposure to regulatory compliance, emergency response planning, and continuous improvement processes
Qualification
Required
Must be enrolled and returning as a junior or senior in a bachelor's degree program in Environmental Health & Safety or an engineering-related field at an accredited institution
Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8 (please don't round)

Relocation is not provided for this role, the candidate must be located within 50 miles of Syracuse, NY. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
Preferred
Overall cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
Prior internship or co-op experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
