A self-starter who proactively accomplishes tasks with minimal guidance
Qualification
Required
BS Degree or higher in ME
Minimum of 7 years of automotive experience in using Catia for 3D design
Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing BIW components
A related advanced degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience
Strong knowledge of vehicle styling and packaging
Strong understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) required
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities to handle simultaneous projects and support requests
Excellent communication skills to liaise between design and CAE teams
Use industry best practices and up-to-date technologies to identify inefficiencies and improve the design process
A self-starter who proactively accomplishes tasks with minimal guidance
Preferred
Experience with Catia v6 (3DX) is a significant advantage
Familiarity with vehicle simulation, especially in Body rigidity, NVH, and Crash, is highly preferred
Ability to program in VBA and EKL to automate design workflows is highly preferred
