Troon is the world’s largest golf-related hospitality service company, and they are seeking an Event Manager Assistant Intern to support various event management duties. The role involves assisting with volunteer programs, event planning, and administrative tasks to ensure successful event execution.

Responsibilities

Assist Senior Event Manager and Event Director with a wide variety of event duties

Assist with the planning and implementation of the Regions Tradition and Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix volunteer programs

Other events such Superbikes at Barber UFL game day

Volunteer recruitment for local events

Provide assistance with volunteer questions and communications

Produce bi-monthly email newsletters

Responsible for volunteer uniform distribution

Sponsor activation and fulfillment for volunteer program partners

Volunteer Headquarters operational set-up and break down

Regions Tradition marshal program recruitment

Assist with the Racing for Children’s charity dinner

Other ancillary events as needed

Other general administrative and operational tasks as needed to prepare for and support events
