Takeda is a leading pharmaceutical company, and they are seeking an Automation Engineering Intern to support their manufacturing facility in Lexington, MA. The intern will assist in troubleshooting control systems and implementing improvements while gaining exposure to the field of process controls engineering in a regulated industry.

Responsibilities

Support the front-line support engineers responding to incidents on the manufacturing floor – triaging and investigating issues with the operation of our control systems

Perform routine system administration activities like, User access reviews, Audit Trail reviews, and Backup and Restore Operations

Assisting senior developers by testing of logic program changes to improve the operation of the system

Work with senior engineers to design and program solutions to identified areas for improvement

Required

Must be pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Chemical, Biomedical, or Electrical Engineering

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship

Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2026 or later

The intern must be able to commit to one of these time frames (May 26th-August 14th or June 15th- August 21st)

Able to work full time 40 hours a week during internship dates
