Responsibilities
Monitor emerging threats / opportunities in the market and conduct research to stay ahead of market trends and provide insights that will inform strategic decision-making
Identify and research attractive new business opportunities (e.g., industries, customers, products) and support development of customer strategies to drive incremental growth
Analyze complex data and translate findings into actionable insights
Synthesize research and data analysis findings into presentations that articulate key elements of the strategy and go-to-market execution plans
Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Merchandising, Coverage, Marketing, Sales Enablement, Sales) to implement growth opportunities to drive growth via improved offer (e.g., product, price, service) or tailored go-to-market touches (e.g., coverage, sales, marketing)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
3+ years of experience in a strategy-oriented role
Experience working in large B2B businesses, ideally focused on the industrial supply MRO market
Experience with researching industries and customers to synthesize findings to contribute to the development of customer strategies
Experience with analytics, including gathering, interpreting, and synthesizing data to generate actionable insights that inform strategic business decisions
Experience leading projects and influencing cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize and execute initiatives
