Responsibilities
Responsible for performing all necessary duties for a successful Cut Change
Must understand how Frozen Grading works
Responsible for adjusting equipment for optimum performance
Responsible for swapping equipment Change Parts throughout the line
Responsible for changing primary container mediums (poly, clear tite, etc.) as needed
Responsible for making sure that the correct product weight is being bagged
Responsible for checking the Bag/Case Code
Responsible for ensuring that primary and secondary containers are Food Safe
Responsible for fixing and finding defects
Operators must complete a timed Hands on Validation to be properly signed off on. Three total attempts with appropriate retraining will be available
Must know and exercise LOTO for all pertinent equipment
Must follow all plant and job specific Safety and Food Safety duties
Must meet all Safety requirements
Maintain good personal hygiene
Work all Cleanups as assigned
Keep all tools and equipment, not in use, in designated locations
Aid in the training of new Operators as directed
Other duties may be assigned by Supervisors, as needed
Qualification
Required
Must be able to communicate effectively and understand both verbal and written instructions
Must be self-motivated
Must be able to go up and down stairs throughout the Shift
Must be able to be on feet all day (60/40 walking/standing)
Must have a basic Mechanical and Computer aptitude
Understand basic Math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Must be able to safely lift 50 pounds
