Responsibilities
Analysis of solution alternatives, recommend technical solutions that best meet the requirements
Hands-on work with RedHat Linux, system/server builds, and advanced troubleshooting
Engaging with cross-domain and boundary device solutions
Perform system integration, testing, and validation processes for new capabilities and regression use cases
Ensure systems meet security specifications
Responsible for the integration of system changes and new capabilities through the deployment to the production system
Engage in research, data analysis, and choose the best standards and tools for system development
Managing enterprise-level system and operational workstations, servers, and peripherals
You will experience and be willing to work in both an integration and testing environment as well and supporting an operational network environment as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a specialized area; or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire
Candidates must be able to obtain a Polygraph
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required
A minimum of an IAT Level II (DoD 8570/8140.01) certification is required at the time of hire: e.g., CompTIA Security+, GSEC, SSCP, and CCNA-Security
Proficiency in systems engineering concepts and tools
Experience with requirements analysis and deployment preparation
Hands-on experience in Linux OS (Red Hat 7 and 8; PitBull 7 and 8)
Extensive Linux command line experience
Ability to analyze and resolve system design issues
Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture Frameworks and project management principles
Proficiency in OS and hardware/software troubleshooting and performance tuning
Ability to apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and address vulnerabilities
Knowledge of Agile Methodologies
Ability to convert requirements into thorough test documentation
Preferred
Thrive on troubleshooting and solving real world enterprise systems issues
Expertise in re-imaging both physical and virtual servers
Use of Ansible, Satelite, Ansible Tower/Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
Creation of Ansible Playbooks
Customer service experience
Experience in high tempo operational environment
Develop innovative solutions for complex problems
Driven to pursue continuous improvement for yourself, the quality of the work product, and ultimately mission delivery results
Stay updated on technology trends and communicate them effectively
