Responsibilities
Perform sales calls within your territory and develop a strategic plan to exceed annual goals
Proactively target both existing customers and high-potential new accounts
Build strong, trust-based relationships at all organizational levels
Understand customer needs and deliver consultative, value-driven solutions
Identify new opportunities and maintain a predictable, high-quality pipeline
Prepare proposals, quotations, and customized solutions that deliver measurable customer impact
Partner with in-house engineers, product specialists, and factory reps to co-sell complex solutions
Lead product demonstrations and help customers evaluate technical options
Stay ahead of trends in automation, robotics, IIoT, and advanced controls
Accurately update all activity, interactions, and pipeline details in our CRM system
Qualification
Required
Technical degree or 3+ years of successful industrial distribution/technical sales experience
Expertise in at least one of the following: Machine Control, Motion Control, Safety Systems, Robotics / Automation
Ability to interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and vendor catalogs
Proven track record of year-over-year sales growth and new account acquisition
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
High resilience, self-motivation, and the ability to independently manage a territory
Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving abilities
Adaptability in a rapidly changing industrial landscape
Customer-first mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service
Valid driver's license and ability to work comfortably in industrial environments
Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
