SENIOR HELP DESK TECHNICIAN

The role involves providing advanced Tier II support and technical leadership for IT environments supporting USASMDC missions, ensuring continuity of operations in classified and operationally sensitive environments.

Responsibilities
Resolve complex hardware and software issues
Perform root-cause analysis and advanced troubleshooting
Serve as DTS and Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) subject matter expert for DTS-supported locations
Mentor junior help desk personnel
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and configuration standards
Qualification
Required
Secret clearance
Advanced DoD 8140 certification
8+ years of experience providing Tier II/III IT support
DTS and JTR expertise (for DTS-support roles)
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
