Bonnell Aluminum is seeking an Extrusion Operator for their 2nd shift position. The role involves operating machinery, monitoring production processes, and ensuring safety and cleanliness in the work environment.

Responsibilities

Loading and starting Age Ovens Unload Age Ovens

Operator an Overhead Crane

Monitoring and removing press scrap

Staging Racks

Loading metal and spacers

Stretcher Operation

Visually monitoring parts for over-stretch or under-stretch conditions

Saw Operation

Must be able to read and understand a tape measure

Assist other personnel and perform other duties as required per supervisor

Inform the Supervisor of any equipment problems or any other problems

Work in a safe manner always wearing all required Proper Protective Equipment (PPE)

Maintain a clean, clutter-free workstation

Able to participate in a collaborative environment

Comply with safety policies and procedures

Accepts feedback from the Team Captain to ensure the bundles meet safety standards

Complete special projects and other duties as assigned

Required

Must be able to read and understand a tape measure

Operate the overhead crane

Drive Combi/Forklift

Lift to 50 pounds

Read and understand shop orders

HS Diploma/GED

Must also pass a skills-based test

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently and effectively; self-motivated; self-starter

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Must be conscientious, diplomatic, and detail oriented

Must pass a company background check and drug screen
