They are seeking an Ultrasound Technician to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and provide exceptional patient care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations of the heart (echocardiography) blood vessels (vascular ultrasound) to evaluate cardiac/ vascular conditions

Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and address their concerns. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the examination

Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and adherence to safety protocols

Analyze and interpret ultrasound images, identifying and documenting any abnormalities or areas of concern

Maintain a high standard of image quality and accuracy, following established protocols and quality control measures

Accurately document patient information, procedures performed, and findings in electronic medical records (EMR) or paper records as required

Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and relevant medical guidelines through ongoing education and training

Educate patients on the purpose of the ultrasound procedure, answer questions, and provide relevant information

Adhere to safety regulations and infection control procedures to ensure the safety of patients and colleagues

Must be open to traveling between clinic locations
