Responsibilities
Perform and assist with audits, reviews and compilations of financial statements for a diverse portfolio of private companies, as well as other non-attest services
Apply your knowledge across a variety of industries, with emphasis on construction, real estate and manufacturing
Conduct accounting research and stay current on technical guidance and GAAP developments relevant to clients’ needs
Work closely with clients, building professional relationships and delivering quality audit services
Maintain organized workpapers and utilize assurance resources effectively to ensure accuracy and compliance
Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
Qualification
Required
3+ years of financial statement audit/review experience
Solid understanding of GAAP and audit procedures
A proactive mindset with strong communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Proven ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Availability to work overtime from January 15 to April 15, with straight overtime pay for all additional hours
Preferred
CPA certification or CPA-eligible preferred
Experience in a public accounting firm is highly valued
Familiarity with construction, real estate and manufacturing industries is a plus
Experience with audit software is a plus
