Responsibilities

Originate mortgage applications within low-to-moderate income neighborhoods and to low-to-moderate income borrowers
Participate in Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) related activities and functions within Orrstown Bank region
Must adhere to the requirements of federal registration under the SAFE Act
Market bank wide proprietary CRA products, in branches as well as outside organizations such as real estate firms, housing agencies, etc

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of two (2) years loan experience
High level of attention to detail

Self-starter showing initiative
Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
Strong working knowledge of mortgage underwriting
Strong working knowledge of loan documentation
Strong working knowledge of conventional and government lending guidelines
Strong working knowledge of federal lending regulations governing real estate lending
Strong working knowledge of residential mortgage processing
Strong working knowledge of closing procedures
Strong working knowledge of appraisals and contracts
Strong working knowledge of features and benefits of Bank loan products and services

Preferred

College degree
Prior advanced banking training through AIB, PB, ABA, etc
