Remington Hospitality is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer II to ensure the smooth operation of maintenance tasks. The role involves responding to service calls, performing repairs, and coordinating with other personnel to maintain facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities

Respond to all service calls within half hour from time call is received

Determine defects, trouble-shoot malfunctions, take immediate necessary corrective action if guest related/top priority or scheduled for completion within 2 days and record same on the departmental work order form

Follow specific departmental procedures in efficiently performing repair, maintenance, alteration and installation work

Comply with the latest local, county, state and federal governmental codes, laws and requirements

Upkeep and maintain grounds for Lemon Bar

Assist with daily Lemon Bar set up

Coordinate with other department personnel such as electrician, carpenter, painter and night engineer in completing service, replacement, alteration and new installation work

Efficiently adjust televisions and program Spectradyne boxes

Carefully and efficiently paint, stain or repair interior and exterior finishes

Change light bulbs and ballasts as soon as reported or noticed

Record daily, weekly and monthly temperature and pressure readings

Be familiar with and maintain all fire safety equipment operations and implement emergency procedures when required

Respond to any HVAC calls or essential bar equipment calls as a priority

Produce accurate logs, charts and preventive maintenance forms

Perform other duties as assigned
