Responsibilities

Advise current and prospective students on financial aid options, eligibility, and deadlines
Assist with FAFSA completion and other required documents
Review applications for accuracy; collect and verify income and household documentation
Communicate award decisions and explain policies clearly
Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
Collaborate with campus offices to support enrollment and retention
Participate in outreach events and workshops; occasional travel required

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related financial aid experience
Strong customer service skills
Attention to detail
Commitment to student success
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with FERPA and Title IV regulations
Proficiency with computers and office software; ability to learn financial aid systems

Preferred

Experience in higher education, financial aid, or student services
Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills
