DFW Area Residential Service HVAC Technician
Milestone Electric, Air & Plumbing is seeking a Residential Service HVAC Technician to operate, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment for residential customers. The role involves diagnosing issues, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring effective communication with clients while traveling to job sites in the service area.

Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems
Travel to job sites in the service area and work with dispatch to ensure the schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to the customer
Be available to work nights and weekends on a rotating basis to service emergency needs of our customers
Maintain good working order of company vehicle including refueling as necessary, reporting any mechanical issues, and filling out and submitting vehicle inspection form
EXTREME customer service skills, Ability to interact with homeowners, collect money and relay information clearly
Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment on the vehicle
Educate homeowner on potential opportunities for additional business (newer system, service contracts, and additional services)
Maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential customers. Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems
Must be able to meet any physical ability requirements listed in this description
May perform other job duties as directed by team member’s leaders
Participate in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies
Qualification
Required
Must Have Residential Hvac Experience

Active (Valid) Driver's License. (3 yrs of clean driving history) required
Candidates must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing
Must have a minimum of 3 years of HVAC residential service experience (required)
A current EPA certification and State Registered TDLR (required)
Excellent organization, communication, and prioritization skills
Strong multi-tasking skills, including the ability to flex on demand across multiple support channels
Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret plans and manuals
Computer skills: Microsoft Office, and IOS devices

Must be able to lift and move items of 75 pounds and/or more on regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces
Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl and stoop on a frequent basis for extended periods
Must be able to work in cramped or high places such as attics, ladders and tunnels
Must be able to carry heavy items up and down stairs
Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat, rain, snow or sleet
Must have mental skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, and a technical vocabulary to understand direction and adhere to established procedures
Must be willing to adapt well in the face of workplace stressors such as customer service complaints
