NetSuite is a world leader in cloud solutions, and they are seeking an experienced Functional Implementation Consultant to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. The role involves documenting business requirements, configuring the Oracle NetSuite application, and supporting the sales cycle through Professional Services engagements.

Responsibilities

Partner with customers to document and validate their business requirements, map them to solution functionality and configure/customize the Oracle NetSuite application to meet their business needs

Conduct sessions with the customer via the phone or in person, attend project meetings and provide status on progress of activities and deliverables

Provide customers with as needed consulting and general assistance and be a ‘go-to’ resource for specific functional areas

Contribute to the solutions repository/best practices and knowledge share activities and participate in Subject Matter Expert programs

Adopt an agile approach to blend technology with business innovation to help customers achieve success

Support the sales cycle through scoping of Professional Services engagements, executive-level prospect meetings, and solution reviews

Assist in expanding Professional Services sales’ installed base of existing customers, as well as present and promote the value of Oracle NetSuite Professional Services to prospective customers

Train and mentor more junior consulting staff

Required

5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus

Ability to communicate effectively

Ability to build rapport with team members and clients

Ability to travel as needed

Preferred

7 or more years of cumulative relevant experience to include significant ERP solution functional solution implementation and/or administration

Expertise in Products industry vertical focused ERP solutions, with experience in the Retail or Apparel industries preferred

NetSuite platform solution experience strongly preferred, HOWEVER competing platforms will be considered

Consulting experience strongly preferred

Strong project and team leadership skills

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

NetSuite product certification a plus

English language read/write/speak proficiency

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
