We are seeking a Technical Services Manager responsible for managing onsite operations related to hazardous and non-hazardous waste, ensuring safety compliance, and supervising technical service staff.

Responsibilities

Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times

Ensures compliance within division of federal and corporate safety policies; conducts regular safety meetings; provides health and safety plans for job sites; designates personal protective equipment specifications for each job

Manages field projects; keeps clients apprised of progress; addresses any technical questions

Provides regulatory information to clients and project managers; maintains records required by regulatory agencies; keeps apprised of all pertinent regulations

Complies pertinent facts and technical aspects of projects into report form. Uses technical knowledge to create proposals

Supervises technical service staff

Participate in hiring, performance evaluation, disciplining, promotion and termination decisions

Responds to customer inquiries by phone or in writing regarding waste approval, disposal and pricing; responds to new customer inquiries about company and Technical Services

Provides Technical Assistance to Sales group. Attends Sales Calls

Prepares and approved billings, tracks internal and external costs
