Kforce Inc is seeking a Staff/Senior Accountant who will be a key member of the finance team, supporting day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close. The role involves managing customer invoicing, preparing journal entries, and assisting with financial statements and tax filings.

Responsibilities

Staff/Senior Accountant will manage customer invoicing and full A/P cycle, including coding, approvals, and payments
Prepare and post monthly journal entries (accruals, prepaids, reclasses)
Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy
Support month-end and year-end close, including variance analysis and reporting
Assist with cash management, bank reconciliations, and deposit tracking
Help prepare financial statements and audit support schedules
As a Staff/Senior Accountant, you will support payroll processing and record payroll-related journal entries
Assist with tax filings and coordinate with external advisors as needed
Contribute to ad hoc accounting projects and process improvements

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of accounting experience (public or corporate)
Experience with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and strong Excel skills
Solid understanding of GAAP and month-end close
Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
