Responsibilities
Support Sika materials application strategy to meet customer requirements
Manage project timelines from award through 90 days post-launch
Ensure design reviews are complete and drawings are released in accordance with department procedures
Establish DVP&R's and DFMEA's and ensure design verification of parts including customer on-site validation
Manage engineering changes from quote approval by the customer to implementation at the manufacturing plant
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by the Supervisor
Qualification
Required
Japanese language is required
Requires minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent required in Engineering
1-3 years of application engineering or Program Management required preferably in the Automotive Industry
Japanese speaking and experience with the culture
Preferred
Must have PC proficiency including MS Office and project management software
Excellent analytical & quantitative skills as well as strong communication
Capable of creating strong internal & external relationships with customers, vendors, and contacts across business groups
Familiarity with plastic injection molding and tooling as well as part design is highly recommended
Experience working with Japanese OEM's & Fluent in Japanese
