Tri Star Energy is a growing, local, family-owned company seeking an experienced Refrigeration Maintenance Technician to join their Facilities Maintenance team. The role involves performing required and preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems and equipment at company stores and facilities, ensuring all work complies with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

Visually inspects and tests machines, systems, and equipment

Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunctions and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors and/or other maintenance technicians to diagnose problems and repair equipment

Removes dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machines

Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts and motors and adjusts as needed

Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery

Installs and repairs electrical apparatuses such as transformers, wiring, and electrical components of machinery and equipment

Replaces and/or repairs machine belts

Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment

Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment, including painting, plumbing, and general building upkeep

Performs all work to industry standards complying with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and Company directives related to building operations

Follows safe work habits and cleans up area after completing maintenance and/or repairs
