Commercial Account Manager
NFP, an Aon company, is a recognized leader in Business Insurance, providing tailored solutions for risk management and workforce challenges. The Account Manager will support Senior Account Managers and Account Executives in managing client accounts, including preparing proposals, maintaining client files, and assisting with claims handling.
Responsibilities
Begins to develop relationships; attend meetings and may contribute
Assist Senior Team Members in preparing proposals for client meetings
Participate in reviewing quotes and other carrier documents for accuracy with the Senior Team Members
Creates and maintains client files in accordance with office procedures. May be responsible for keeping client policy records in the agency management system
Provides assistance with billing questions from clients and carriers as needed
Give clear answers to clients on coverage or billing questions, including information on rate fluctuations or policy changes to ensure full understanding
Assist with claims handling and support, facilitating claims process between clients and adjuster
Qualification
Required
Associates degree (or equivalent)
More than 3 years' client service and/or industry and product line experience
Property & Casualty Insurance License
Highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-confident to make sound independent decisions
Ability to successfully interact with a variety of people and function well both in a team environment and autonomously
Ability to handle situations in a calm, courteous and professional manner
Customer focused to establish and maintain effective relationships
Intermediate level of experience in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines
Must be able to read, analyze and reconcile financial reports such as budgets, financials and reserve study's for HOA clients
Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
Sharp attention to detail, decision making skills, and problem resolution
Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities, deadlines and contribution and collaboration with other team members
