Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain Azure-based infrastructure (VMs, networking, storage, identity, monitoring)

Manage Azure Active Directory, role-based access control (RBAC), and identity governance

Optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency

Implement and monitor security best practices across Azure and on-prem environments

Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, SOC, GDPR, HIPAA as applicable)

Manage firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint security solutions

Oversee hybrid environments integrating on-premises systems with Azure cloud

Administer Windows Server, virtualization platforms (Hyper-V/VMware), and networking components

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues

Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, ARM templates, or Terraform

Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code

Drive adoption of modern cloud-native practices

Serve as a subject matter expert for Azure and infrastructure technologies

Mentor junior administrators and provide technical guidance

Contribute to IT strategy, capacity planning, and disaster recovery initiatives
