Responsibilities
Gather and document comprehensive business requirements, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs and project objectives
Write and refine clear and actionable user stories with acceptance criteria to guide development teams
Create detailed wireframes, business process documentation, specifications, and workflows to effectively communicate requirements and support design discussions
Serve as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, bridging the gap to ensure mutual understanding of goals and deliverables
Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather insights and ensure seamless collaboration throughout the project lifecycle
Present project updates, findings, and reports to stakeholders in a clear and professional manner
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, managing expectations to avoid scope creep or misaligned goals
Act as the primary point of contact for clients during project phases, addressing questions and concerns promptly
Assist in problem-solving activities and propose creative solutions to business challenges
Support change management initiatives by clearly communicating changes, impacts, and benefits to stakeholders
Analyze data to identify trends and provide actionable insights that support decision-making
Prepare and maintain project tracking reports, ensuring transparency in project progress and outcomes
Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
Assist in demonstrating application functionality to clients and prospective clients, showcasing the value of proposed solutions
Qualification
Required
US Citizenship due to work with the federal government
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, information technology, or a related field
3+ years of experience in business analysis or a similar role, with increasing responsibility
Proven experience working with stakeholders to define and refine requirements
Hands-on experience with wireframing tools (e.g., Balsamiq, Figma, Sketch, Axure)
Proficiency with business analysis tools and techniques, including documentation and design methodologies
Experience utilizing software development and design tools, such as Azure DevOps
Strong understanding of agile methodologies and software development lifecycles
Exceptional skills in writing user stories and creating acceptance criteria
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving capabilities, with a detail-oriented and analytical mindset
Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
Preferred
Experience working directly with government, public safety, or other regulated industries
Familiarity with change management processes and strategies
Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum Master)
