Responsibilities

The Electrician Apprentice will assist the Electrician with basic tasks

Complete Maintenance work orders on electrical equipment. Testing malfunctioning equipment, identifying defects, troubleshooting, repairing equipment and replacing defective parts

Collaborate with other electrical staff to identify and resolve problems

Up-dates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications

Qualification

Understanding schematicsElectrical codesBasic computer knowledgeCommunication skillsReliability

Required

Possessing the ability to understand schematics and technical manuals

Must be reliable and have excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Must be willing to submit to pre-employment screening, including criminal background check and drug screen

Basic computer knowledge is required

Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred

2-4 years of electrical apprenticeship preferred

Demonstrate knowledge of electrical codes
