This position is responsible for providing hands-on technical support for both existing and new repair processes, particularly in the context of turbo-machinery systems used in commercial and military applications.

Responsibilities
Create and maintain master repair processes including part routings and operations sheets
Provide shop support and technical data interpretation to the team
Design tools and fixtures as required
Review shop discrepancies between technical data and part condition
Ensure manufacturing processes and equipment comply with regulations
Develop new ideas and research emerging technologies to innovate and expand manufacturing capabilities
Communicate with vendors, suppliers and customers as required
Support repair development and continuous improvement activities as required
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Experience in optimizing processes and workflow
Hands-on technical support experience for repair processes
Knowledge of products used in commercial and military applications
Experience with high bypass, turbo-jet, prop or shaft gas turbine/turbo-machinery systems
Ability to create and maintain master repair processes including part routings and operations sheets
Experience providing shop support and technical data interpretation
Ability to design tools and fixtures
Experience reviewing shop discrepancies between technical data and part condition
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment compliance with regulations
Ability to develop new ideas and research emerging technologies
Strong communication skills to interact with vendors, suppliers, and customers
Experience supporting repair development and continuous improvement activities
