They are seeking a part-time intern for their Accounting team to gain experience in multiple areas including Payroll, AR, and Fixed Assets while providing support to the US Accounting department.
Packaging & Containers
Responsibilities
Organizing and validating tax elections for payroll processes
Investigate payroll payments for accuracy and timeliness
Track cash spend for Fixed Assets
Investigate and correct rates pertaining to state sales tax
Review of customer portal invoice submissions and uploading invoices
Collaborating on projects with other departments and teams
Use various information systems to provide information and support, including SAP, Sales Force, and Access
Provide other ad hoc support, and respond to requests as needed
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing an undergraduate accounting degree required
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Access
Responsibly manage sensitive or confidential information
Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills
Attention to detail and willingness to learn
Self-starter; ability to work independently on projects and tasks
Preferred
Minimum 3.0 GPA in statistics, accounting, finance, and/or economics coursework preferred
Demonstrated interest in international development
