Technical Resource Manager-Audio/Visual

Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of team management for installation teams, fabrication teams, field engineers and other technical team members as required, including hiring, retention strategies, and employee development
Administer corrective actions, including progressive discipline and termination when necessary
Conduct quarterly performance reviews to evaluate competencies and identify areas for improvement
Function as a mentor and trainer to the team, supporting professional growth and technical proficiency
Manage administrative functions including the weekly approval of timesheets, monthly expense reports, and PTO requests
Evaluate incoming projects to ensure all components meet company standards and assign projects to appropriate installation teams
Audit installation and technician hours to manage overall team utilization effectively
Ensure field teams have the necessary materials and jobsite conditions to successfully perform their duties
Address and assist install teams and field engineers when onsite issues arise, providing troubleshooting and technical guidance
Ensure all equipment is installed on customer sites in accordance with proposal specifications and design documents
Verify and enforce the Bluum Master Subcontractor Agreement, including Bluum Quality Standards and the Bluum Installation Standards manual
Perform quarterly quality control inspections for local subcontractor partners to ensure alignment with company standards
Vet and Onboard potential new subcontractor partners as needed; verify compliance with licensing and other administrative requirements as needed
Manage safety protocols and ensure team members are working safely on job sites
Conduct and document mandatory safety meetings with at least a monthly cadence
Support Project Delivery and Administration teams by serving as a conduit to field teams and answering technical questions
Clearly and concisely escalate installation concerns to the project management team and leadership
Stock and maintain all installation vans with the necessary tools to complete installations
Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all installation fleet vehicles
Qualification
Required
Secondary diploma required
Two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role is required
Five (5) years of direct experience in audio-visual installation is required
A minimum of 5 years' experience installing A/V equipment and terminating cables is necessary
CTS certification is required (CTS-I or CTS-D are preferred). Candidates will be expected to obtain CTS certification within 6 months of hire as a condition of employment
Ability to handle a wide variety of projects, including those involving complex programming and configuration
Demonstrated strong technical proficiency, including the ability to interpret drawings, analyze signal flow, and provide technical guidance
Ability to read and mark-up blueprints of installation projects
Excellent organizational skills with exceptional time management and prioritization abilities to manage multiple installations and timelines simultaneously
Expertise working with diverse personalities and team dynamics to foster a collaborative environment
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to write clear, timely emails, reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public
Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision, demonstrating expertise in handling escalating situations in a calm and professional manner
Advanced analytical skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions from abstract and concrete variables
Preferred
Possession of a Low Voltage License (PLT or similar) is preferred
CTS-I or CTS-D certification is preferred; Candidates will be expected to obtain CTS-I certification within 6 months of hire as a condition of employment
OSHA 30 Certification is preferred. Candidates will be expected to obtain OSHA 30 certification within 3 months of hire as a condition of employment
