Graduate Research Appointment-Hematology - Limited Tenure
Mayo Clinic is a leading healthcare provider, and they are seeking a Graduate Research Appointment in their Hematology Research group. This position focuses on understanding the leukemic microenvironment in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) and involves performing routine lab procedures, data analysis, and contributing to research publications.

Responsibilities
Sets up and performs routine and established lab procedures in support of lab goals, paper publication, grant commitments
Collects, enters, and summarizes data
Assists in the maintenance of lab equipment and supplies
Performs basic statistical data analysis; prepares tables/charts/graphs and assists in organizing data
Presents at research laboratory meetings and contributes to writing of manuscripts
Works under supervision and may perform some assignments independently as discussed and approved by Principal Investigator
Qualification
Required
A solid understanding of basic lab techniques, equipment, and safety
The ability to organize and carry out laboratory techniques independently and in a team setting
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Must have the ability to keep track of, and organize, numerous samples and associated results electronically (i.e., MS Excel, MS PPT, etc) and manually (via storage in freezers)
Preferred
Previous experience with molecular cloning, cell culture, flow cytometry, cell sorting and purification
Experience with basic data analysis
