Responsibilities

Verifying all documents and employment history for clinicians
Submit background checks and drug screenings through HireRight for locum tenens clinicians
Follow up with clinicians and relevant clients on required paperwork to obtain privileges
Attend weekly calls with alternating departments and provide a status update on files in process
Follow up with recruiters on needed information to ensure a smooth credentialing and onboarding process
Utilize advanced problem-solving skills to resolve issues and conflicts that may arise
Communicate with in-house credentialing, recruiting, and human resource departments
Ensure a high degree of customer service to our clients as well as the clinicians to ensure both parties have a pleasant experience
Confirm clinicians are up to date with medical licenses and board exams as required by the client
Prepare and maintain accurate records such as reports, forms, and correspondence

Required

High School diploma or equivalent
1 to 3 years of credentialing experience in an agency setting
Ability to work independently and under pressure as well as have a high sense of urgency
Exceptional attention to detail and customer service skills for both internal and external customers
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Maintain professionalism, courtesy, and composure always, including in stressful situations
Ability to be a self-motivated team player who takes initiative
Exhibit a high degree of conflict resolution skills while prioritizing business needs
Proficient in the English language
