Adecco is seeking a CNC Programmer NX to develop and optimize multi-axis CNC programs for aerospace machining operations. The role involves creating CNC programs, analyzing engineering drawings, and supporting production processes.

Responsibilities

Create CNC programs in NX to control machine operations using CAD/CAM

Develop flow charts, documentation, sequence logic, and complete machine operation cycles

Analyze engineering drawings to determine machining approach, materials, and process requirements

Define machining patterns and operations on programming documentation

Ensure programs meet target cycle time and generate geometry to customer requirements

Select cutting tools, feeds and speeds, and toolpath strategies for required operations

Support concept design and improvements of tools, gages, fixtures, and existing tooling

Verify, debug, and refine programs; coordinate with production and inspection during prove-out

Support lean activities within engineering and across the organization

Provide programming support for customer requirements, including coordination across functions as needed

Required

Direct experience programming multi-axis aerospace machining operations and materials

Experience with full multi-axis (5+) or partial (3+1) CNC programming for lathes, mills, and mill/turn machines

Ability to create CNC programs using CAD/CAM (NX) and/or manual programming methods

Siemens PLM NX (8.5 or later) capability in 3D modeling, sketching, assemblies, lathe, and drafting

CGTech VERICUT experience

Ability to analyze engineering drawings for materials, fabrication processes, and design requirements

Ability to debug CNC programs and work with shop floor and inspection personnel

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred

Grinding programming/experience

Tool and gage design experience

Experience supporting lean/continuous improvement initiatives

Experience optimizing cycle time while meeting customer geometry and quality requirements
