Responsibilities
Electrical Knowledge (24V DC,110V,120V, 220V, 480V)
Knowledge of motors and motor controls
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Basic knowledge on plumbing, welding, and forklift operation
Ability to read a voltage meter
Complete all work orders and preventative maintenance as assigned
Capability to use and navigate through maintenance management programs (SAP, UpKeep, etc.)
Demonstrate mechanical knowledge and aptitude
Follow proper safety guidelines including point of work risk assessment and lockout/tagout
Troubleshoot, repair, and install parts on machines and equipment
Ability to work independently or in a team setting
Knowledge and proper use of hand and power tools
Perform visual inspections and maintenance of production equipment
May initiate purchase order for parts and machines
Notifies department manager of unusual situations
Follows safety and security rules and keeps work area in a clean and orderly condition
Follows all good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and wear all required PPE in designated areas
Attention to detail in all performed activities
Qualification
Required
Post high school mechanical or building trades, or equivalent combination of education and work experience accepted
Seven (7) + years of experience in building trades and/or machine repairs, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc
Seven (7) + years of experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of material handling equipment, conveyor systems, and automated equipment
