The Continuous Improvement Internship will support the Continuous Improvement Group in facilitating improvement projects in key production bottlenecks, focusing on efficiency and standard work development.

Responsibilities

Assist CI team in the completion of assigned projects

Participate in both CI training and improvement activities

Develop Standard Work and work with teams for implementation

Maintain Metrics on Performance to Standard Work

Support Visual Factory Methods and Metrics in their area of the shop with the goal of improving delivery and speed

Conduct other activities as requested by the CI Manager

Required

Currently enrolled in the pursuit of a degree toward a BS in Engineering / Management

A minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalency is required
