Responsibilities

Assist CI team in the completion of assigned projects
Participate in both CI training and improvement activities
Develop Standard Work and work with teams for implementation
Maintain Metrics on Performance to Standard Work
Support Visual Factory Methods and Metrics in their area of the shop with the goal of improving delivery and speed
Conduct other activities as requested by the CI Manager

Required

Currently enrolled in the pursuit of a degree toward a BS in Engineering / Management
A minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalency is required
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items

Preferred

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook
Casting or metal fabrication experience preferred
Familiarity with data analysis and tools such as Minitab preferred
