$16/hr - $18/hrThe American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) is currently hiring a Summer Intern for Information Technology (IT) located in their corporate headquarters in Schaumburg, IL. This part-time internship offers the opportunity to assist the IT Infrastructure team with various projects while gaining hands-on experience in a member-centric environment.

Responsibilities
Perform light administration in a pure Microsoft 365/Azure environment. The focus is on auditing, reporting, and compliance check; learning how to manage a cloud environment
Act as a Junior Analyst for our security program. Review vulnerability scans, categorize risks, and research remediation steps for the team to implement
Take ownership of the physical workspace. Organize server rooms, audit hardware assets, and ensure our inventory records match reality
Assist with Day-to-Day support tickets (T0/T1). We need a helpful pair of hands to close out simple requests and document the solutions
Qualification
Required
Education related to Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Information Systems
Interest and/or college courses in IT support, security, or infrastructure
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Teams
Students must be enrolled in a college/university
Students must interview with Human Resources and the Manager/Director who will be responsible for overseeing the work
Students must intern in an area which is related to their academic major and degree
Preferred
Ideal candidate will enjoy 'investigative' work and organizing chaos
