Responsibilities
Deliver value through the pervasive use of modern technology and features to increase the velocity and accuracy of data delivery
Design and deploy Tableau solutions including setting up environments
Deliver Tableau Best Practices in Data Governance, Security, Cost Management, Visualization, and Access Management
Create BI content, such as reports and dashboards, and ensure data integrity, security, user engagement and adoption
Collaborate with IT and stakeholders to integrate Tableau with other systems
Drive the design and implementation of new data projects and the optimization of existing solutions
Analyze opportunities for improved processes leveraging AI / ML technologies
Increase the velocity of our development and enable the organization to use their gifts to develop new features and datasets and less time fixing them
Protect the data source and dashboards by working with our offshore team to monitor the production schedule, troubleshoot any failures, and ensure that the processes are running smoothly
Design and drive the strategy around data governance, data security and data privacy to support business and compliance requirements
Skilled in deploying AI services like Tableau Pulse and Next for enhanced data analysis
Monitor data quality and dig in deep to find solutions to problems when they arise
Foster innovation by keeping abreast of emerging technologies and foster development of the team’s skill
Coordinate user enablement, including support, engagement events, and analytics evangelism
Evaluate and adopt emerging AI technologies and frameworks to keep the analytics infrastructure at the cutting edge
Drive change control and adoption of new processes and automated solutions
Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget and business within your department and design / implement solutions to meet these needs
Promote Advanced Analytics and using data driven decisions to be a competitive advantage across the Post Holdings network through strategic leadership and guidance
Collaborate with senior leadership to promote data driven decision making across the enterprise
Contribute your expertise to the data catalog
Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members, fostering knowledge sharing and skills development within the team
Direct the development of comprehensive training programs and documents with the goal of creating effective end-users for all advanced analytic tools
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other quantitative subject preferred
7 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience considered
7 years of experience working with various Data Analysis, Data Warehousing / Data Lakes, Data Sharing, Data Engineering, Data Quality, Business Intelligence, or ERP software packages (Tableau, Informatica, SAP, Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, JDE) preferred
Expertise in Tableau architecture and server management
Advanced proficiency in Tableau (Desktop, Server, Cloud) and data modeling to design scalable business intelligence projects
Expertise in programming languages, including Structured Query Language (SQL), Python desired
Strong project management abilities for handling multiple clients
Advanced user in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Visio; must have expert functional knowledge of Excel
Experience with JIRA / GitHub or other code management toolsets and experience with change control concepts
Exceptional analytical skills and advanced problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to concisely convey analytical interpretation and / or data issues to affected members of departments
Expert ability to define and design solution options, evaluate technical feasibility, and provide estimates on effort and risk
Exceptional experience building positive relationships across teams and roles; business partners, engineering, architecture, and platforms
Team-oriented, results driven, love to learn, can-do attitude
