Tooling Mechanic - Large Structure Fabrication
The Boeing Company is seeking a Tooling Mechanic - Large Structure Fabrication. This role involves large structure fabrication and assembly, as well as the fabrication, maintenance, and modification of various tooling in collaboration with engineering design teams.

Responsibilities
Large structure fabrication and assembly is the primary responsibility of this position
Fabricate, maintain, modify, & install various forms of tooling, such as large and small engineering test fixtures, fabrication equipment, etc. in collaboration with engineering design teams
Utilize manual equipment to fabricate or modify various tooling components (Examples: Marvel saw, surface grinder, drill press, etc.)
Other responsibilities to include: Blueprint Reading, Tooling Inspection, 3D Model Interrogation, Machining, Welding, Laser Tracking
Qualification
Required
1+ years' experience in large structure fabrication, ironworking, or as a millwright
High school diploma or GED
Preferred
3+ years of experience ironworking or working in a structure or tool fabrication environment
Experience with safe heavy load lifting via forktrucks, mobile or overhead cranes
Certificate or Degree or Technical Trade School Certificate (Or appropriate apprenticeship completion)
Experience with Verisurf software
Experience using manual inspection and CPU driven equipment such Laser Trackers
