Senior Contracts & Risk Management Specialist
Crawford Thomas Recruiting is representing a national provider of signage manufacturing and installation services. They are seeking a Senior Contracts & Risk Management Specialist to own contract review, negotiation, and risk assessment for complex construction programs while partnering directly with the CEO.

Responsibilities
Review, redline, and negotiate contracts including MSAs, SOWs, amendments, and RFP-driven agreements
Identify and assess contractual risks related to indemnification, liability, insurance, payment terms, damages, warranties, and performance obligations
Advise leadership on risk exposure, mitigation strategies, and go/no-go decisions
Review RFPs and pre-award contractual language prior to submission
Partner with Business Development and estimating teams to align scope, pricing, and contractual requirements
Support multi-million-dollar, multi-site construction programs with contract interpretation during execution
Serve as the primary liaison with outside legal counsel and manage legal review efficiently
Develop contract standards, redline playbooks, and risk escalation processes
Translate contractual language into clear business and financial impact for executives and project teams
Qualification
Required
7–12+ years of experience in construction contract management, risk management, or legal-adjacent roles
Extensive experience negotiating complex construction contracts and RFP-based agreements
Strong understanding of risk allocation in large-scale, multi-site construction programs
Proven ability to assess risk, negotiate effectively, and balance legal protection with commercial objectives
Comfortable operating independently and advising senior leadership
Preferred
Legal training or background (JD or paralegal) preferred but not required
