Elmington is a privately owned real estate investment and development firm based in Nashville, TN. As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for owning and driving the reporting cycle, delivering insightful reporting to support the goals of the business.

Responsibilities

Create advanced financial analytics profitability analysis, and operational metrics
Lead the reporting cycle from inception to delivery
Design, build, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports that deliver clear, actionable insights
Collaborate with business units to understand requirements/KPIs and translate them into effective data solutions
Perform data extraction, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy and consistency
Provide ad‑hoc analysis and reporting to support strategic initiatives
Stay current with Power BI features and best practices, recommending improvements to enhance reporting capabilities
Performs all other duties as assigned

Required

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and leadership
Strong analytical and reasoning skills, capable of interpreting complex data and solving problems with structured logic
Outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and deadlines efficiently
Expertise in Power BI, DAX, and performance optimization
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, schema design, and ETL best practices
Experience in Microsoft Fabric, SQL, or Snowflake
4+ years of experience working in Power BI
Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Finance, or a related field

Preferred

Experience with Python, R, or other Data Science tool
