Responsibilities
Design and execute qualitative and mixed-methods UX research studies independently and collaboratively
Partner closely with cross-functional teams (XFN) to refine research questions and study design
Conduct in-lab and remote research involving human subjects
Collect, analyze, and synthesize attitudinal and behavioral data
Run descriptive analyses on small-scale quantitative data
Translate research findings into clear insights and compelling narratives
Write detailed study reports and prepare executive-ready presentations
Contribute research insights to product strategy and execution
Manage multiple research projects while maintaining timelines and quality
Qualification
Required
Proven experience conducting human-subjects qualitative research (design, analysis, reporting)
Strong experience with hardware-based or prototype research
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Experience leading research across multiple phases of the product development lifecycle
7+ years of UX Research and/or Design experience
Master's degree in Sociology, Human Factors, Psychology, HCI, or related field (required)
Preferred
Experience with AR/VR or immersive technologies
Strong storytelling skills to influence product and leadership decisions
Experience synthesizing research for diverse technical and non-technical audiences
PhD in a related field (preferred)
AR/VR research experience
End-to-end ownership of research studies
Insightful storytelling and presentation skills
