Responsibilities

Understand business processes and their related IT requirements, specifically as they relate to the HRIS and Payroll systems
Drive the definition, optimization and improvement of new and existing business processes via development of business and functional requirements
Manage process compliance as appropriate (e.g. internal controls, regulatory requirements, other business processes, etc.) including development and delivery of documentation and training material
Serve as a conduit between business, IT, and external partners to collaborate on all JDE related requirements, process, documentation, and training
Participate in strategy discussions to understand and capture high level business needs and deliver detailed functional specification documents for signoff in preparation for development
Provide effective solutions to the HR & Payroll teams to address business scenarios, and guide them through the appropriate business processes related to setting up Employees, PDBAs, AAIs, budgeting, Payroll runs in the system
Identify system issues, determine root causes, and implement creative solutions for temporary workarounds and permanent fixes
Respond to functional and technical issues including troubleshooting, issue management, and initiate actions with technical support teams as needed

Required

Full understanding of systems architecture concepts and methodologies
Knowledge of application platforms and their application
Knowledge of infrastructure platforms and their application
Experience in JD Edwards Modules: General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Procurement & Subcontract Management, Contract & Service Billing, and Service Work Orders
Ability to understand business processes and their related IT requirements, specifically as they relate to HRIS and Payroll systems
Experience in defining, optimizing and improving business processes via development of business and functional requirements
Ability to manage process compliance including development and delivery of documentation and training material
Ability to serve as a conduit between business, IT, and external partners
Ability to participate in strategy discussions to understand and capture high level business needs
Ability to deliver detailed functional specification documents for signoff in preparation for development
Ability to provide effective solutions to HR & Payroll teams to address business scenarios
Ability to guide teams through appropriate business processes related to setting up Employees, PDBAs, AAIs, budgeting, Payroll runs in the system
Ability to analyze complex issues where evaluation of variable factors is required
Ability to exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
Ability to network with key contacts outside own area of expertise
Ability to determine methods and procedures on new assignments and coordinate activities of other personnel
