Mid LevelAvir Health Group is seeking a Certified Activities Director to join their team. The role involves coordinating the activity program within the facility to enrich residents' lifestyles through quality leisure activities.

Responsibilities
Develop and promote recreation programs including music, dance, arts and crafts, cultural arts, nature study, social recreation and physically and mentally stimulation exercises
Keep abreast of current events within the community and utilize available resources
Organize and maintain both daily and monthly schedule of activities. Inform and assist residents regarding activities
Develop resident’s council/grievance committee to encourage the residents’ involvement and provides means for ensuring the rights of residents
Supervise volunteer support

Required
Activity Director Certification Required
Preferred
Previous nursing home experience preferred
Previous supervisory experience preferred
