Engineer Electrical Maintenance HDGL

Responsibilities
Supporting continuous improvement projects to increase productivity, availability, and efficiency
Improve process automation by leading and supporting electrical improvement projects, focusing on automatic control systems and associated field devices
Support root cause failure analysis
Continuous optimization of process automation systems utilizing process data acquisition systems
Participating in the commissioning of new equipment
Support training, coaching, and mentoring for maintenance technicians and operations team members
Responsible for planning improvement activities using SAP software
Work in interdisciplinary teams during process improvement activities
Work with Process Engineers and Mechanical Engineers regarding day-to-day line activities
Participating in on-call rotation to support production 24/7

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Industrial Electricity or related discipline
General understanding of process automation and process controls
Demonstrates strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Able to competently handle a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material
Demonstrates strong interpersonal communications skills, written and verbal
Ability to develop and provide training within the maintenance and operations organization
Demonstrates strong work ethic and displays a high degree of professionalism
Microsoft Office Products, Microsoft Project, etc
Preferred
Experience with process-automation systems (coursework, internship, or project experience is acceptable)
Practical experience or solid familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs); experience with one or more of the following is preferred: Proficiency in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) such as: General Electric HPCi/P80i, Siemens S7, Siemens TIA Portal, LogiCAD
Understanding of Robotics
Basic experience configuring or supporting HMI/SCADA systems such as Wonderware InTouch, Siemens WinCC
Solid understanding of industrial instrumentation fundamentals (sensors, transmitters, control loops)
Knowledge of industrial communication systems (Profibus, Profinet)
Knowledge of process-data acquisition or analysis tools (basic experience with systems like ibaPDA is a plus)
Some experience or academic exposure to motor-control systems such as Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) or Motor Control Centers (MCC)
Understanding of fundamental electrical engineering concepts and ability to read basic electrical drawings
Awareness of industrial safety practices and basic electrical safety standards
