Responsibilities
Partner with business development and executives to build competitive, profitable pricing models for clinical research proposals and contracts
Lead financial setup and ongoing management of awarded projects
Manage monthly financials: revenue recognition, gross margin and variance analysis, cash flow forecasting, and executive reporting
Identify and mitigate project profitability risks
Lead change-order processes: assess financial impact of scope changes and update project forecasts
Maintain accurate financial records in CRM and accounting systems
Support process improvements, financial modeling updates, and cross-functional initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field
3–8 years as a Project Finance Analyst in a CRO environment
Strong knowledge of revenue recognition (ASC 606), variance analysis, cash flow management, and backlog forecasting
Hands-on experience with clinical project lifecycle financials
Advanced Excel skills
Preferred
Experience with ERP/accounting systems and data visualization tools
Audit experience in a regulated environment
Familiarity with CRO operations and clinical research landscape
Process improvement mindset
Experience with CRM platforms for project and financial tracking
