Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain core network infrastructure that powers a large-scale zero-trust access platform
Work deep in the systems layer, owning complex components that sit at the heart of the product
Develop high-performance, low-level networking software primarily in C/C++, with exposure to Rust and Go
Collaborate closely with a small, senior team of engineers solving challenging problems around performance, reliability, and security
Take ownership of projects end-to-end—from architecture and implementation to iteration and optimization
Help shape technical direction and raise the engineering bar as the team continues to scale
Qualification
Required
6+ years of professional experience in network infrastructure engineering or networking protocol development
Strong, production-level experience with C/C++ (non-negotiable)
Background working on real systems software (not IT or network administration roles)
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, distributed systems concepts)
Proven ability to work independently, move fast, and solve ambiguous technical problems
Track record of meaningful tenure and ownership in prior roles
Preferred
Experience with Rust and/or Go
Background at networking, security, infrastructure, or high-performance systems companies
Experience building software that operates at scale or in security-critical environments
Interest in cybersecurity, zero-trust architecture, or modern infrastructure platforms
